Greetings!  This is my new blog appearance.  I hope you like it.  We have made revisions to this website to make it more appealing and visible to those in the social media who  are anxiously awaiting more news about the Vacation Bible School (VBS) mission.

Previous articles I have shared discuss how to start a VBS in your church or overseas.  I wrote about ways to organize and conduct Vacation Bible School using simplified methods, organization,  purpose and faith in Jesus.

It is important to note that what I brought to the table last year is a strategy that worked for me and those working with the VBS team.  Certainly you may have others way to organize your own event that could prove more successful.  Please feel welcome to take my advice and articles as a method of encouragement or tools for the journey ahead.

 The new format will include:

• Guest articles by people experienced in the VBS program as a volunteer and/or participant.

• Updates about VBS activities in different churches and in different towns in Romania

• Many more pictures and occasional videos.

• Occasional difficulties implementing the VBS program and possible ways to solve them.

• Some podcasts and videos to amplify and explain parts of the VBS program.

• Occasional inspirational messages to keep our focus on Jesus Christ.

• Information or comments that seem appropriate as the spirit moves me.

• Opportunities to make a tax-exempt donation to help fund the spread of VBS programs, or to adopt one church as your personal, in absentia, VBS effort.

• Opportunities for you to comment or enter into a conversation about items or articles that appear on this site.

• Mention of materials and other resources that may help you implement and operate your VBS program.

WOW!  That is quite a list.  Stay tuned each week, on Tuesday’s to see how we’re keeping up with VBS around Sonoma County, Romania and beyond!  the world.
