I have a question. Actually, I have many questions.  Be prepared for questions from potential VBS team participants.

Here is a list of questions you should be prepared to answer.  Keep in mind that this is not an exhaustive list.  No doubt there will be other questions that should be included.

Notice answers are not included in this list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).  There are several reasons for that.

• Laws and regulations change. Check yourself to be sure you have the latest information.
• Prices can change.
• Times and dates can change.
• Each church can set its own requirements for participant fees, dress and
• VBS program content may differ year to year.
• Expectations of VBS Team members can vary.

Here are some questions to help you get started.

1. What is included in my participation fee?
2. I can’t afford that much. Are scholarships available?
3. How many people will be on the team?
4. Do I need a passport, Visa, immunizations?
5. Do I need health insurance?
6. Should I get travel insurance?
7. Will smoking or alcohol consumption be allowed?
8. What kind of clothing should I bring?
9. Is there a dress code?
10. What are the restrictions on weight, size, and number of pieces of luggage?
11. What is the time difference between here and the site of the VBS church?
12. What if there are emergencies at home?
13. What if I get ill or injured and must return home?
14. How much money should I bring?
15. Will cell phones work where we will be going? What is the cost?
16. What attachments will I need so my various electrical items will work?
17. What kind of camera should I bring?
18. Do I need to speak the language?
19. What are the responsibilities if I am assigned to Crafts?
20. What are the responsibilities if I am assigned to Recreation?
21. What are the responsibilities if I am assigned to Bible Study?
22. What are the responsibilities if I am assigned to  ________________?
23. What if I have discipline problems?
24. Do we have daily devotions?
25. Is participation on the team physically or emotionally demanding?
26. What are the restrooms like and are they readily available?
27. Is laundry service available?
